CRAPS
Craps, a simplified form of the Old English game Hazard, is a game of dice played against others players or a bank. The modern American version was brought to New Orleans by Bernard Xavier Philippe de Marigny de Mandeville. The origin of this game dates back to the Crusaders. This game, originally known as Crapaud, owes its popularity to the African- American community.
People play craps by betting money against each other (street craps) or against the bank (bank craps) on either the outcome of one roll or a series of rolls of two dice. This game requires very less equipments & hence can be played in formal settings as well. It goes without saying that Craps is a form of gambling: it is said to be popular among soldiers. Craps rules differ in case of street craps & bank craps. Therefore, Craps strategies also differ in both cases and one needs to know them in order to play craps!
